Log Book

I've heard and read recommendations from various people about the benefits of keeping a logbook to record your fishing ventures.   With a log, you are able to look back over time and recall what the fishing was like in different areas at specific times of the year and under different conditions.    This can help your decision making in successive years as where you may want to go to fish.

So with this in mind, here is a log I'll keep through the year for all my fishing ventures.  I'm not sure yet if this will be the best way to organize this information, so I may make adjustments as the year goes on.

Here is a link to my 2014 log book.

Note, I haven't included any of the trips where I failed to catch fish!

... Seems I've been tardy updating this log!

I know I've spend time in Florida where I caught tarpon, hardhead catfisl, a Florida Speckled Sea Trout, and some Pinfish.

Also caught a ton of eels next to the Evandale Ferry looking for an Atlantic Sturgeon.

Since then I've spend a few days at Kingston Creek trying for pickerel but no luck, the same for Hampton.
